Letitia Traylor is a native of Arkansas. She and her husband moved to the Dallas area in 2016. They have a blended family of 6 children and 2 grandchildren.
She has worked as a Registered nurse for 16 years in various areas including Stroke Coordinator, telemetry, Medical-Surgical, orthopedic, progressive care, and L&D. She has also worked in management as a supervisor of a medical-surgical floor.
Letitia started her medical career working as a Certified Nursing Assistant until she decided to obtain her nursing degree. She worked as a CNA while attending nursing school full-time. She obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Texarkana College in 2002. While working as a Medical-Surgical RN, she then decided to return to school to obtain her Bachelor of Sciencein Nursing (BSN) from University of Phoenix in 2006. After completion of her BSN, she continued to work as a RN while obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Texas A&M University in 2012. While working in the hospital, Letitia was able to minister through nursing and realized she desired to help patients limit the time spent in hospitals. Therefore, she made the decision to obtain her Post-Master’s Nurse Practitioner Certificate from University of Texas at Tyler in 2015 in hopes of providing high-quality patient care. Letitia is currently enrolled at Grand Canyon University where she is working on her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with completion projected in December 2018. Prior to starting at Village Chiropractic Center, she worked as a Hospice Nurse Practitioner and Pain Management.
She obtained her Nurse Practitioner certification from AANP in 2015. She also obtained her Certification in 2015 as a Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN).
In her spare time, she loves spending time with family/friends, reading, traveling, and shopping.
